Terms of Service
The terms that govern framework.shop — digital downloads, client projects, and the Website Care subscription.
1. Who we are
FrameWork is an independent design and software studio based in the UAE, operating framework.shop. By using this site, purchasing a download, commissioning a project, or subscribing to a Website Care plan, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the service.
2. What we sell
Three things. Digital downloads — stream alerts and related creator assets, delivered electronically through the store. Services — website design and development, and e-commerce builds, each defined in a written proposal before work begins. Subscriptions — Website Care, a monthly plan that keeps a finished site hosted, maintained, and backed up.
3. Licence for digital downloads
When you purchase an asset from FrameWork you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it in your own personal or commercial work — your streams, videos, and social media content. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the assets in their original or modified form, and you may not present them as your own original work. Refunds for downloads are covered by our Refund Policy.
4. Client projects
Websites and other client work are quoted per scope. The deliverables, timeline, and fees for each engagement are set out in a proposal agreed before work begins. A deposit reserves your slot and is non-refundable once work has started. Timely feedback and materials from you are part of keeping a project on schedule; extended silence may pause the work. New pages, features, and redesigns beyond the agreed scope are quoted separately.
5. Website Care subscription
All Care plans are month to month, and you can cancel anytime with 30 days notice. Paying yearly gives 10% off, paid upfront, and is non-refundable after 30 days. Unused edit hours do not roll over between months. If payment stops, the site remains live for 14 days and is then paused; your data remains available for export for 30 days. Plans cover maintenance and edits to your existing site — new pages, features, and redesigns are quoted separately as projects.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by FrameWork. Prices are shown in AED unless stated otherwise, and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless the checkout says so. For invoiced project work, invoices are payable within 14 days; late payment may pause active work.
7. Accounts
If you create an account, the information you give us must be accurate and kept current, and you are responsible for keeping your credentials safe. We may suspend or close accounts used in breach of these terms.
8. Intellectual property
The site, the store, and everything FrameWork makes remain the property of FrameWork and its licensors, protected by copyright and trademark law. For client projects, ownership of the final approved deliverables transfers to you on receipt of full payment. We retain the right to show completed work in our portfolio and case studies unless a confidentiality agreement says otherwise.
9. Limitation of liability
Our work is delivered with care, on a best-efforts basis. FrameWork is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product or engagement in question.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material we will give at least 30 days notice before it takes effect. The latest version is always published on this page.
